Summary
Join Eneba's Platform team as a DevOps Engineer and take ownership of infrastructure and DevOps processes for the Data Platform. Streamline, automate, and elevate backend systems powering analytics and data-driven products. This hands-on role involves reshaping core infrastructure focusing on AWS, CI/CD systems, database ops, and performance monitoring. You will collaborate with data engineers, backend and frontend engineers, and DevOps colleagues. The position offers the opportunity to improve core infrastructure and directly support critical company projects. Eneba is building a marketplace for gamers, supporting close to 20 million active users.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering, or infrastructure-focused roles
- Hands-on AWS experience, particularly RDS (migration, replication, performance tuning), S3, IAM, and networking
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud automation, and observability best practices
- Collaborative mindset with a drive for ownership and continuous improvement
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices across the Data Platform
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and automated AWS infrastructure (e.g., RDS, S3, networking, IAM)
- Improve CI/CD workflows and tooling for data engineers and platform developers
- Handle infrastructure incidents, database migrations, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with engineering teams to advise on architecture and tooling choices
- Lead improvements by gathering feedback, identifying process gaps, and executing fixes across environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Databricks or similar data platforms
- Experience working with Delta Lake or S3-based data lakes/warehouses
- Experience using GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, and/or Kubernetes
- Python scripting skills or exposure to automation for data environments
- Experience scaling cloud infrastructure in a high-growth environment
