Summary
Join Kyivstar.Tech as a DevOps Engineer and ensure the stable operation of on-premises and cloud server infrastructure for low-code platforms. You will be responsible for software rollout and configuration, environment maintenance, performance monitoring, and incident resolution. A key role involves automating environment provisioning and streamlining software deployment. The position requires experience with Windows and Linux servers, IIS configuration, .NET Framework, and various other technologies. Requirements
- Experience working with both Windows and Linux servers, and understanding their configuration and operational differences
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and understanding of client-server application architecture
- Strong knowledge of Linux
- Experience working with IIS: configuring sites, Application Pools, logging, and managing certificates
- Experience installing and configuring .NET Framework, libraries, and related software
- Experience installing and configuring Redis, RabbitMQ, MinIO, and Elasticsearch, along with understanding their core principles
- Experience setting up server monitoring with Grafana and Zabbix
- Skills in log analysis, error troubleshooting, and interaction with monitoring systems
- Experience collaborating with network and server teams
- Experience with GitLab version control
- Scripting skills using Bash and/or Python and/or PowerShell
Responsibilities
- Server preparation and software setup (IIS, .NET Framework, libraries, and dependencies)
- Configuration and management of Application Pools, site setup, and IIS parameters
- Ensuring configuration compliance with platform requirements
- Proactive management of problems and incidents
- Monitoring resource utilization (CPU, memory, disk, network) using existing monitoring systems
- Prompt resolution of issues related to service hangs, crashes, or platform malfunctions
- Participation in scheduled updates of platforms and related software
- Participation in investigations, root cause analysis, and incident reporting
- Log maintenance, incident registration, and interaction with vendor technical support
- Working with the server configuration team to prepare infrastructure including infrastructure as a code automation
- Collaboration with network engineers on network accessibility, NAT, DNS, load balancing, etc
- Cooperation with database administrators on performance, connectivity, and backup issues
- Maintaining technical documentation on architecture, configurations, and procedures
- Preparing installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting guides for common issues
- Ensuring infrastructure readiness of environments (Dev, Test, Prod)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with network load balancers (e.g., F5, Nginx)
- Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP
