DevOps Engineer

This full-time, remote position requires hands-on experience with configuration management, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and Linux administration. You will automate and optimize deployment pipelines, manage infrastructure as code, and ensure system reliability. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in Ansible, Jenkins, NodeJS, AWS, and Red Hat Linux. Requirements

• Be a US Citizen
• Obtain and maintain clearance at the Public Trust level or above
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Have 3+ years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or related roles
• Possess strong expertise in Ansible for configuration management
• Have experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation
• Be proficient in NodeJS for building and maintaining tools
• Have hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, IAM, S3, VPC, etc.) and Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of Red Hat Linux administration, troubleshooting, and security best practices

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain machine configuration using Ansible
• Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines and leverage NodeJS for tooling
• Manage and deploy AWS infrastructure, particularly EC2 instances, using Terraform
• Ensure system stability and performance by administering Red Hat Linux environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline deployments and improve system efficiency
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, automation scripts, and deployment workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Possess scripting proficiency in Bash and/or Python
• Be familiar with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
