Summary

Join Payoneer's team as a DevOps Engineer and play a key role in supporting development, data engineering, and product teams. You will manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, optimize workflows, and design innovative solutions for scalable, high-performing systems. This role requires close collaboration with various teams to deploy to production, maintain workflows, and build pipelines. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, strong experience with CI/CD tools, and a background in Linux system administration. Requirements

  • At least 3 years’ experience as DevOps Engineer\SRE Engineer\Platform Engineer
  • BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, relevant technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of exposure running production workloads (AWS, Azure or GCP)
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or similar
  • Microservices architecture & container orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)
  • Experience with IaaC tools (e.g. Terraform)
  • Strong background in Linux system administration and shell scripting
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana and ELK(
  • Proactive by nature; internal drive for excellence and improvement

Responsibilities

  • Close support of development and data engineers’ teams
  • Work together with Data Engineers, R&D, Analytics, and Product teams to deploy to production
  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure to maintain production grade performance
  • Monitor system performance, ensuring uptime, scalability, and effective resource utilization
  • Maintain & deploy workflows / pipelines for data collection
  • Scripting build pipelines for cloud operation tasks
  • Architecture planning implementing of future features and solutions
  • Offer and design architecture for data collections strategies
  • Support Data engineers and suggest innovative design for new workflows
  • Working with both on-premises and cloud infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with virtual environments such as VMware
  • Proficiency in Google cloud services, especially those related container management
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL, MongoDB)
  • Experience with software development and development frameworks
  • Knowledge and understanding Storage and Networking
