Summary

Trunk is seeking a DevRel Engineer to educate, inspire, and engage their growing developer community by creating content across multiple channels. The role involves creating technical content, improving documentation, and collaborating with various departments. Requirements include 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience, strong writing skills, ability to create screencasts and instructional videos, and ability to collaborate with design and marketing teams.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer working with a team of engineers
• Strong writing skills, ability to entertain and educate a diverse audience with a broad range of experience
• Ability to create good quality screencasts and instructional videos
• Ability to collaborate with our design and marketing teams to create compelling and useful visuals, including infographics and charts to accompany written content

Responsibilities

• Create long-form content for the blog and social media, including tutorials, thought leadership content, and discussions
• Write code samples and case studies for multiple developer segments and lines of business
• Own and continually improve upon the developer documentation at docs.trunk.io as our product suite grows
• Partner with other companies on content syndication (ours on their sites) as well as innovative and interesting content for our own blog and other channels
• Experiment with creative series and content ideas, e.g. ‘DevEx Horror Stories’
• Work directly with Product, Marketing, and Engineering departments
• Help with Trunk Community Slack, as needed
