Summary

Join Mysten Labs' Developer Relations team and help accelerate the adoption of decentralized protocols. As an engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise in Sui and Walrus protocols and Move programming to engage with the developer community. You will provide technical guidance, create a feedback loop between the community and the network, translate feedback into product insights, and deliver training sessions. You will cultivate the local developer community and use your communication skills to explain complex concepts. This role requires initiative, prioritization skills, and cross-functional team management. Experience with Move or Rust is a plus, but fast learners are welcome.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Software Engineering or combination of Software and DevRel Experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interest in Web3
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel and connect

Responsibilities

  • Understand the community's goals, and provide technical expertise and direction to help the developers navigate their journey of building on Sui and Walrus
  • Create and own the feedback loop between the community and the network
  • Translate developer feedback into meaningful product insights for future product development
  • Develop and deliver remote and in-person training sessions and workshops for new and existing Sui developers
  • Cultivate and grow the local developer community

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years prior DevRel experience
  • Experience with blockchain, cryptography and/or Web3 engineering
  • Experience with Move and/or Rust programming language(s)
  • Home base in or proximity to SF Bay Area or NYC
