Digital Network Architect

Summary

Join our team as an FPGA and Embedded Software Engineer, where you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex systems, leveraging your expertise in FPGA design, embedded software, networking, and RF radio communications. This role requires strong communication skills, as you will be explaining complex systems to various teams. While on-site work in Montreal is preferred, remote or hybrid options are available for the right candidate. Candidates with experience in Space and/or Satellite are preferred, but not required.

Requirements

• Good understanding of FPGA design concepts
• Good understanding of Embedded Software concepts, preferably using embedded Linux
• Excellent expertise in networking (Ethernet+TCP\IP+MPLS)
• Ability to simplify the operation of complex systems and explain how these work
• Methodical, structured, capable of understanding and following complex design processes with multiple teams
• Team Leadership is a must
• Effective communication skills, as this role requires explaining complex system

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in RF radio communications (5G, DVB-S2X, DVB-RCS2) is a plus
• Candidates with Space and/or Satellite experience are preferred but not required
