Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or relevant healthcare degree
  • Demonstrate experience in pharmacy management or healthcare operations, with a focus on 340B programs
  • Show a strong understanding of federal regulations governing the 340B program
  • Possess proven analytical skills and experience with data interpretation
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Show the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Possess proficiency in data analysis tools and pharmacy management software
  • Pass a Cleared Background Check

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of the existing clients 340B program to identify areas for improvement
  • Analyze data and metrics related to drug utilization, savings, and compliance to inform optimization strategies
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the 340B program
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and entity management to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations related to the 340B program
  • Monitor changes in legislation and best practices to maintain compliance and optimize outcomes
  • Work closely with internal teams, including finance, pharmacy, and clinical staff, to promote understanding and support for 340B initiatives
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and external partners, such as contract pharmacies, covered entities, wholesalers, and gateways
  • Provide training sessions and resources to staff regarding 340B program policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Develop educational materials to enhance the understanding of the program among stakeholders
  • Create and present reports on program performance, including savings, compliance, and patient access metrics
  • Use insights from reporting to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement
  • Prepare for and participate in audits related to the 340B program
  • Implement corrective actions based on audit findings and recommendations
