Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in the data center or technology infrastructure sector
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and industry standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction management planning and execution, providing strategic direction and oversight
- Develop and implement construction management processes, standards, and best practices
- Oversee all phases of data center construction projects, from initial planning and design through to completion and commissioning
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and project management teams, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery
- Manage relationships with external contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the construction management team
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, and opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM, or similar) are a plus
