Solar EPC Project Manager or Director

Summary

Origis Energy is seeking an experienced Project Leader with a strong technical solar background to manage the execution life cycle of projects from Development to Operations. The position requires management, engineering, procurement, and construction duties. Preferred qualifications include large utility scale solar experience, BESS experience, comprehension of solar cost structure, EPC contract negotiations and management, ability to manage multiple projects, energy storage experience, technical or business degree, and professional certification.

Responsibilities

• Management Duties: EPC budget and cost management, close engagement/support of internal Finance team, Project schedule management, Project status reporting, Internal management presentations/updates
• Engineering Duties: Drive value engineering efforts, Manage multiple 3rd party consultants/engineers
• Procurement Duties: Major equipment selection evaluations, 3rd Party EPC bidding and contracting
• Construction Duties: EPC contract management, Coordinate with construction site teams, Interconnection Utility interface, Drive closeout and turnover coordination with operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Possess a 'get it done' mentality
• Energy storage experience a plus
• Professional certification (PE, RA, or other) preferred
