Remote Director, Corporate Counsel

Join our dynamic and fast-growing team as we seek a talented and motivated Director or Senior Director, Corporate Counsel to provide legal counsel and support on a wide range of matters.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor(J.D) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the state bar
• 4+ years of relevant legal experience
• Proven track record of providing practical and strategic legal advice in a complex business environment
• Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial contracts, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance issues
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal principles clearly and concisely
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate different types of contracts
• Provide strategic legal guidance and advice on healthcare regulations, compliance matters and similar
• Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to help mitigate them
• Support our corporate governance practices and general matters
• Develop and implement policies & procedure and experience preparing and submitting regulatory documents
• Manage and coordinate with external counsel on litigation and assist in resolving any disputes or claims
• Assist in protecting the company’s intellectual property assets, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights
• Work closely with the executive leadership team and others leaders within the organization
• Research and stay current on laws and regulations impacting the company’s operations and industry, providing proactive guidance to mitigate legal risks
