Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Operations, or Finance, or certificate in Construction Management
  • Seven to ten years of relevant experience in Sourcing / Procurement / Project Management
  • Five or more years of direct experience in global supply chain management, project management, category management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and vendor management
  • Direct experience in Facility Management, Critical Electrical and Mechanical Equipment, Construction Design and Construction, and Professional Services
  • Five or more years of experience leading a team
  • Experience in data center construction
  • Experience managing and leading change initiatives
  • Experience developing long-range sourcing plans
  • Demonstrated company-wide procurement leadership experience
  • Experience in contract development, execution, and management
  • Skill in building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to resolve conflict and solve problems

Responsibilities

  • Plan, budget, and manage strategic sourcing for data center equipment and professional services
  • Analyze capital plans to determine equipment and service needs and create budgets and procurement plans
  • Ensure accurate cost and schedule information is provided to Development Program Managers
  • Provide weekly procurement status updates and recommendations to executives
  • Analyze category spend, research supply markets, and develop strategic procurement plans
  • Ensure CoreWeave policies and processes are followed and continuously improve them
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Finance leaders to align and execute category strategies
  • Manage and create documentation, business process flows, and training materials
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve procurement initiatives, increase speed to market, improve quality, and lower total cost of ownership
  • Assess risk levels, manage supply continuity, develop contingency plans, and establish risk management strategies
  • Lead category management activities to achieve business objectives and benefit targets
  • Develop RFP packages and lead competitive sourcing events
  • Support sales by securing competitive NRC costing for customer deals
  • Solicit and develop construction-related contracts
  • Monitor market supply chain conditions and anticipate project needs
  • Resolve technical and commercial issues, engage subject matter experts, and escalate as needed
  • Ensure up-to-date design standards are distributed to suppliers
  • Obtain OFCI equipment submittals to support design, specification, and process approval
  • Track and manage equipment inventory locations and recommend reallocation plans
  • Contract and manage OFCI equipment rigging and storage services
  • Procure equipment shipping transportation services and coordinate delivery schedules
  • Perform receiving transactions in Workday and ensure proper documentation
  • Develop KPIs to measure supplier performance
  • Evaluate supplier performance and lead improvement initiatives
  • Ensure mutual contracted obligations are met
  • Lead periodic business reviews
  • Liaise with Site Operations, Suppliers, and Finance to resolve issues and lead process improvements
  • Travel 20% to CoreWeave sites, OEM facilities, and events
  • Coordinate and implement the order process
  • Manage day-to-day administrative activities
  • Provide ad-hoc assistance to Site Operations
