Senior Director, Critical Infrastructure Sourcing and Procurement

Lead and implement sourcing strategies within the Construction and Data Center Operations business. Develop metrics to hold suppliers accountable and drive results through competitive bidding and negotiation. The ideal candidate will have strong supply chain and technical procurement skills, analytical and financial acumen, and excellent communication capabilities. This role requires a minimum of 8+ years of experience in supply chain management and technical procurement, preferably in the infrastructure or data center industry. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, technical procurement, and logistics, preferably in the infrastructure or data center industry
• 8+ years of experience supporting strategic sourcing, including vendor negotiations, contract management, process improvement and operational analysis
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
• Strong knowledge set around MEP
• An ability to interpret relevant AHJ codes/regulations that might influence procurement decisions
• Proven ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
• In-depth understanding of supply chain and logistics operations, including regulatory and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end supply chain process for critical infrastructure projects, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment
• Work closely with engineering, operations, construction and delivery teams to identify key supply risks impacting on-time data center delivery and implement proactive mechanisms to mitigate risks
• Develop and manage procurement strategies for technical components, negotiating with vendors to secure the best terms and total cost of ownership
• Lead the development of long-term supply agreements to mitigate capacity and delivery risks, drive cost savings, enable faster DC delivery, and embodied carbon reduction
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors, monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements
• Lead infrastructure development projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in supply chain and logistics operations, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Preferred Qualifications

• A master’s degree is preferred
• PMP, CSCP, or equivalent certification is highly desirable
• Ability to read mechanical one lines or electrical SLD's is highly desirable
