Summary

Join Deel as the Director of Global HCM Onboarding and lead a global team in delivering HCM implementations across various sectors and geographies. You will manage a book of business, ensuring projects meet goals and maintain high quality. Engage with clients, providing consultation and customized solutions. Oversee all implementation stages, from planning to post-implementation support. Manage a team of implementation managers, providing guidance and support. Continuously improve processes and provide regular updates to leadership and clients. This role requires extensive experience in global HCM SaaS and strong leadership and communication skills.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in global HCM SaaS industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing system implementations, preferably in a HCM outsourcing or managed services environment
  • Proven experience in successfully managing complex implementations for multinational clients across multiple countries
  • Expertise in working with HCM technology platforms
  • Strong understanding of global HCM regulations, and compliance standards across various regions (North America, EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of motivating and developing a high-performing team
  • Exceptional client-facing communication skills with the ability to understand and address client needs while delivering complex payroll solutions
  • Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA)

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and guide the global team of Customer Implementation Managers in delivering HCM implementation across multiple geographies and business sectors
  • Manage a global book of business and ensure project goals are met, and the implementation process is smooth, efficient, and of the highest quality
  • Act as executive contact for clients during the HCM implementation life cycle
  • Engage with clients as needed to understand their specific project and HCM needs, provide consultation on best practices, and ensure that their requirements are met through customized solutions
  • Oversee all stages of the implementation process, including planning, system design, configuration, testing, data migration, and customer enablement, and post-implementation support
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, with quality, and on budget
  • Manage a team of HRIS, Engage, ATS, and Compensation Implementation Managers
  • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance, professional development, and adherence to deadlines and quality standards
  • Identify areas for improvement in the implementation processes, workflows, and system functionality
  • Drive process optimization to improve accuracy, speed, and efficiency
  • Provide regular status updates to senior leadership and clients on implementation progress, key milestones, risks, and issues
  • Develop and present post-implementation reports to ensure transparency and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree or relevant certifications, such as CPP
