Summary

Join Inspiren as a Product Design Lead and shape the user experience for our AI-driven healthcare products. You will define the vision and strategy for product design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive solutions. This role demands hands-on design work and leadership of the product design team. You will report to the Head of Product and be responsible for hiring and managing a high-performing team. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 8+ years of product design experience, and 2+ years leading design teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in product design
  • 2+ years with a proven track record of leading and managing design teams
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
  • Extensive experience using design tools, such as Figma
  • Experience building and implementing a design system(s)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze data and extract meaningful insights from data analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Amplitude) to inform product design decisions
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams on design-to-development handoff

Responsibilities

  • Define and champion the product design vision and strategy for Inspiren, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Create and maintain design principles and guidelines that guarantee a consistent and high-quality user experience across all products. Establish and enforce design best practices within the team
  • Drive user-centered design approaches throughout the product lifecycle, including running user testing to ensure best-in-class user experiences
  • Maintain a balance between leading the design team and contributing hands-on to key design projects
  • Hire and manage a high-performing team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct user research and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for innovation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Experience in healthcare or a related field
  • Experience in a high growth start up environment

Benefits

  • The annual salary/OTE for this role is $180,000-$215,000+ equity + benefits (including medical, dental, and vision)
