Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 10+ years in technical management and strategy
- 7+ years with full stack development including Python and JavaScript
- Previous experience leading Engineering as a Site lead for a US Tech company, with understanding of business acumen and commercials
- Strong platform engineering experience with multidisciplinary teams ranging from Full stack developers to DevOps Engineers and more
- Proven track record of launching successful technical products
- Documented success in scaling engineering teams and operations
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex engineering challenges
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic goals for the engineering operations in Poland that align with the broader company objectives
- Manage resource allocation and budgeting for engineering projects, and establish long-term plans for technological advancement and infrastructure expansion
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring products are conceptualized and deployed successfully
- Prioritize features and tasks based on customer feedback and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver products on schedule while establishing and enforcing coding standards to maintain high quality
- Foster a positive and innovative work environment to mentor and guide engineering team leaders
- Set clear performance metrics and evaluation processes
- Facilitate professional development and training to empower your team
- Oversee code quality and integration processes to ensure high standards are met
- Enforce strict compliance with security protocols and data protection standards
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, guiding the team towards effective resolutions
