Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years in technical management and strategy
  • 7+ years with full stack development including Python and JavaScript
  • Previous experience leading Engineering as a Site lead for a US Tech company, with understanding of business acumen and commercials
  • Strong platform engineering experience with multidisciplinary teams ranging from Full stack developers to DevOps Engineers and more
  • Proven track record of launching successful technical products
  • Documented success in scaling engineering teams and operations
  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex engineering challenges

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic goals for the engineering operations in Poland that align with the broader company objectives
  • Manage resource allocation and budgeting for engineering projects, and establish long-term plans for technological advancement and infrastructure expansion
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring products are conceptualized and deployed successfully
  • Prioritize features and tasks based on customer feedback and business objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver products on schedule while establishing and enforcing coding standards to maintain high quality
  • Foster a positive and innovative work environment to mentor and guide engineering team leaders
  • Set clear performance metrics and evaluation processes
  • Facilitate professional development and training to empower your team
  • Oversee code quality and integration processes to ensure high standards are met
