Summary
Join Mashgin, a successful and innovative point-of-sale company, as their Sales Engineering Director. Lead and build a high-performing sales engineering team, providing technical expertise and support to clients and the sales organization. You will ensure sales engineers are equipped for success, provide training, stay updated on market trends, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and create client presentations. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in sales engineering leadership within a high-growth B2B SaaS startup and a strong understanding of CRM systems. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales roles, with a proven track record in a leadership position
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and their application in the sales process
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and team members
- Experience in training and mentoring sales teams to enhance their technical knowledge and performance
- Ability to travel up to 50-75% of the time to client sites all over the US
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing sales engineering team
- Ensure sales engineers are well equipped to secure technical wins, working closely with the deployment team to ensure smooth customer onboarding, and ensuring pilot deployments are successful
- Provide training and support to the sales team on product features, integration specs, and technical solutions
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor products to effectively position our offerings
- Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and influence the product roadmap
- Create and deliver presentations and demos for clients and prospects to showcase product capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growth stage technology startup
- Experience selling combined hardware & software solutions
- Experience with Point of Sale technology
