Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in an AI-focused role within the healthcare or HealthTech space
- Proven track record of delivering AI-powered products (including generative AI and ML solutions), ideally in SaaS enterprise software
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), predictive analytics, and computer vision. Knowledge of AI model development and deployment in healthcare applications is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and influence decision-making. Experience in managing and mentoring product managers or teams
- Ability to think strategically about product development and the business implications of AI innovations. Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical, data-driven approach to decision-making
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts in clear terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong collaboration skills to work across engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for AI-driven healthcare products, ensuring alignment with company goals and the needs of healthcare providers, patients, and other stakeholders
- Lead the end-to-end development of AI-based products, from ideation and research to launch and optimization
- Conduct and participate in market research, user interviews, and competitive analysis to understand healthcare industry trends, customer needs, and pain points. Use insights to define product features, functionality, and positioning
- Work closely with data scientists and engineers to turn AI algorithms and models into user-friendly, scalable SaaS solutions
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, marketing, and clinical teams to ensure that AI products are technically sound, user-friendly, and aligned with healthcare standards and regulations
- Utilize data and analytics to inform product decisions. Continuously monitor product performance and user feedback to iterate and improve AI products, ensuring they deliver tangible value and meet customer expectations
- Ensure that AI products comply with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and adhere to ethical guidelines in AI, including transparency, fairness, and accountability. Work with legal and compliance teams to navigate complex regulatory landscapes
- Conduct market research to understand healthcare AI trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use these insights to inform product positioning, feature prioritization, and go-to-market strategies
- Own the product roadmap for AI products, balancing short-term needs with long-term vision. Manage the product lifecycle, from concept to retirement, ensuring that each stage adds value to both the business and the customer
- Regularly engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, customers, and industry experts, to ensure alignment on product vision and progress. Clearly communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Set KPIs and track the impact of AI products on healthcare outcomes, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Leverage feedback and data to continuously refine and optimize the products
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new product features, ensuring successful product launches, customer adoption, and retention
- Regularly evaluate the performance of products within the portfolio to identify areas where the cost outweighs the value generated and provide actionable recommendations for improvements or next steps
- Develop comprehensive, data-backed business cases for new SaaS product initiatives, enhancements, or investments, including detailed financial projections (costs, revenue, ROI), risk assessments, and market opportunity evaluations
- Lead the pricing and packaging strategy for new products in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. Work closely with the marketing team to develop competitive market positioning and create effective product launch strategies
- Be involved and aware of major milestones for each product initiative with the ability to identify potential risks before they happen and guide the team on mitigation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare industry, including knowledge of healthcare workflows, regulations, and challenges
- A Master's degree or MBA
- Experience with AI development frameworks, models and tools
