Summary
Join DELFI Diagnostics as the Sr Director, Product Management and lead the strategic direction of the FirstLook Lung screening test portfolio. You will drive test adoption, represent user needs, and translate them into prioritized product requirements. This role involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to post-market growth, and requires strong cross-functional collaboration. You will conduct market research, build stakeholder relationships, and define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. This is an individual contributor position requiring significant experience in product management within the healthcare or diagnostic industry.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in an analytical, technical, or scientific field
- 7+ years of experience in diagnostics, biotechnology, or related industries
- 5+ years of experience in product management with a focus on AI-based healthcare or diagnostic products
- Ability to lead through influence in a cross-functional environment
- Knowledge and proven experience following formal product development process (PDP) and/or Design Control for diagnostic, IVD or life science products is required
- Strong design-thinking and problem-solving skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset
Responsibilities
- Own the on-market Lung portfolio and further projects from end-to-end by defining the product vision, overall strategic priorities, and roadmap in alignment with corporate objectives
- Work closely with Technical, Commercial, Medical Affairs, and various other teams to execute on product strategy and tactics to deliver meaningful impact for users and market success
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and post-market growth phases for a multi-dimensional product encapsulating assay, machine learning, lab and business operations
- Apply data-driven insights to identify opportunities for innovation, prioritize product features, and write product requirements
- Act as the key bridge between commercial and technical teams to drive product improvements and champion the customer
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality guidelines
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and act as the user champion
- Utilize customer feedback to refine product offerings and improve user experience
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including providers, payers, and patients, to ensure product adoption and satisfaction
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies that ensure successful product launches
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, such as customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and market adoption rates
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and advocate the program with executives
- Use performance insights to inform ongoing product development and strategic decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- A postgraduate degree qualification, e.g., Ph.D., MBA, MS
- Experience with clinical lab operations, molecular diagnostics (NGS a plus), or order-to-cash processes
- Experience working with health systems and pharma
- Background in business strategy, such as management consulting or corporate strategy roles
Benefits
$220,000 - $300,000 a year plus bonus, equity, and benefits
