Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or similar required
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with strong mentoring and coaching skills
  • Solid understanding of web technologies and the ability to engage with engineering teams on technical discussions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment and managing a distributed team

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the product strategy for the Ritchie Bros. website and mobile app, aligning with the company's goals and objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five product managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, operations, finance, and customer support teams to deliver high-impact products and features
  • Advocate for the needs of our customers, using qualitative and quantitative data to drive product decisions
  • Identify and prioritize new features and enhancements that will improve user experience and drive business growth
  • Oversee the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy
