Summary

Join AVIV Group, a leading digital real estate tech company, as their Director of Tax. This role involves building and overseeing the group's global tax function, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with internal and external teams. The Director will report to the CFO and be responsible for all tax matters at the group level, including transfer pricing, financial statement preparation, and due diligence for investments and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a comparable role, ideally within a publicly listed or large PE-backed technology company. This position offers a hybrid or remote work option, flexible hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

  • You are a leader with several years of work experience in a comparable role, either at a multi-national corporate or at an international accounting firm (tax consulting team)
  • A proven track record of ensuring tax compliance, ideally in a publicly listed or large PE backed technology company
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills and the experience of working effectively in an international organization across diverse businesses and cultures
  • A business partner to the CFO and the broader executive leadership team
  • Hands on working style, providing thoughtful analysis with clear recommendations and actively driving projects

Responsibilities

  • Become a forerunner of our transformation
  • Responsible for all tax matters at Group level
  • Coordination of tax compliance for most Group subsidiary companies nationally and internationally
  • Keeping Up-To-Date of the Group wide transfer pricing policy for services and IP
  • Tax support for preparation/audit of consolidated financial statements (including deferred taxes, TRR)
  • Tax due diligence support for investments and acquisitions
  • Close collaboration with auditors, domestic and international external tax advisors and the internal audit and compliance teams
  • Point person for communication and audits of the respective tax authorities

Preferred Qualifications

English language proficiency is a must, additional languages such as French and German relevant to our markets are a plus
