Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a payor relations role
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations, payor relationship management, and reimbursement strategy development within the dental sector
- Deep understanding of dental or medical insurance, reimbursement models
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key dental payors
- Lead the development of long-term strategic plans for Tendโs payor relations and overall growth
- Create innovative programs with payors to optimize overall reimbursement
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through payor partnerships and strategic collaborations
- Lead negotiations for new and renewal contracts with payors, ensuring favorable terms and competitive reimbursement rates
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and clinical teams to ensure contracts align with business goals and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement reimbursement strategies that maximize revenue and minimize denials or delays
- Analyze payor performance data, including claims processing, reimbursement rates, and denial trends
- Ensure that all payor agreements comply with state and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices
- Work closely with operations, billing, clinical, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of payor strategies with the overall business objectives
