The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing cloud-based SaaS products, leading global QA teams, and building automated testing processes within a CI/CD environment. Requirements
- Demonstrated experience testing cloud-based SaaS products with web and mobile interfaces in an Agile, Kanban, or Scrum development environment
- Proven experience leading a global team of automated and manual QA professionals
- Deep knowledge of QA best practices and methodologies with experience building automated testing processes and best practices in a CI/CD environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in standard industry tools for QA and QA automation
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical leaders and team members
- A problem-solving mindset with the drive and curiosity to dig into the details when the solution isn’t immediately clear
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and document comprehensive QA strategies and processes to ensure the quality of Trella Health’s products, enabling rapid development while maintaining quality
- Lead and inspire a global team of QA professionals to uphold a culture of excellence and innovation. Drive innovation in testing solutions to maintain high performance at scale
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to ensure that quality is built into any development effort from the planning phase, not just after coding starts. Work closely with Engineering and DevOps to drive an ‘automation first’ strategy to test case execution, ensuring that security is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline and that all non-functional requirements are validated as part of every delivery
- Define and maintain KPIs & SLAs to quantify and benchmark QA effectiveness, fostering continuous improvement through data-driven insights
- Identify bottlenecks, pain points, and other areas of opportunity and focus efforts to address the challenges in a data-driven manner. Monitor and adjust processes as needed for continuous improvement
- Focus on continuous improvement by setting up processes to track issues, learn from them, and incorporate those learnings to prevent recurring issues
- Drive the use of automation to accelerate and improve regression testing
- Be forward thinking about the use of AI to support the goal of higher quality and responsible resource allocation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with software regulation such as HIPAA, PHI, etc. is preferred
