Distributed Systems Engineer

Summary

The job is for a position within the Logos movement, specifically working on the Nomos project which is a decentralized network of blockchains. The role requires strong coding skills, background in Computer Science and Math, distributed systems experience with a focus on Blockchain, deep knowledge of algorithms, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• Strong coding experience in Rust or at least some experience combined with strong experience in similar system languages
• Strong background in Computer Science and Math, or a related area (not necessarily academic)
• Distributed Systems experience with a focus on Blockchain. Alternatively, P2P and network systems
• Deep knowledge of algorithms
• Keen communicator, eager to share work in a wide variety of contexts, like internal and public presentations, blog posts and academic papers

Responsibilities

Working on the Nomos project which is a decentralized network of blockchains

Preferred Qualifications

• Research experience Interest in privacy, censorship-resistant technology, open protocols
• Experience working for an open-source organization
• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related area
