Requirements
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition (Subscription - time-based, use-based) 606, commissions related to 606, etc
- Strong track record of leadership and team management
- Exceptional client relationship management skills, with the ability to understand client needs
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and leadership
- Strong working knowledge of software is key in this role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of accounting consultants, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to maximize their potential
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing environment within the division
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve divisional goals and objectives, including hitting revenue and margin targets
- Collaborate with leadership to align the division's activities with the company strategy
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients assigned directly to you, ensuring exceptional service delivery and building long-term relationships
- Understand the client's needs and provide strategic advice and solutions
- Act as a point of escalation for clients assigned to your direct reports, ensuring exceptional service delivery and building long-term relationships
- Guide your team on how to best meet their clients’ needs
- Identify new business opportunities and lead business development efforts for the division
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, nurture leads, and participate in client onboarding
- Oversee and manage complex projects, ensuring timely completion, quality deliverables, and adherence to client expectations
- Stay abreast of industry best practices to ensure compliance and minimize risks
- Implement adequate internal controls and processes within the division
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 3- 5 years of proven experience. Preferably in the startup sector
