Join our Digital Product Engineering company as a Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant and provide comprehensive financial accounting and reporting support for our multinational operations. This critical role requires managing complex, multi-jurisdictional financial operations while maintaining confidentiality. You will serve as a trusted financial liaison, demonstrating exceptional accounting expertise and regulatory compliance knowledge within the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, overseeing AP/AR, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also involves cost accounting, managing international tax, supporting M&A activities, and developing financial dashboards and reports. You will liaise with various departments and lead budgeting and forecasting efforts. This position requires strong accounting knowledge, experience in a regulated industry, and proficiency in various software applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA or equivalent (CA, CGA, ACCA) required
- At least 3 years experience, ideally in pharma/nutraceutical or regulated manufacturing
- Strong GAAP, IFRS, and international reporting knowledge
- Skilled in public/private company accounting, audits, and compliance (FDA, SOX, SEC)
- Expert in QuickBooks Enterprise Diamond (multi-entity, inventory, dashboards, integrations)
- Advanced in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
- Proficient in Adobe Suite (Acrobat, InDesign; basic Photoshop/Illustrator)
- Experience with ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), financial tools (Hyperion, Cognos), tax/audit systems
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Culturally aware; flexible with time zones and global coordination
- Adheres to strict confidentiality, security protocols, and regulatory standards (NDA, SOX, insider trading laws)
- Amenable to work onsite, 4:00 PM β1:00 AM on Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records across international subsidiaries
- Prepare GAAP/IFRS-compliant financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Oversee AP/AR, GL, intercompany reconciliations, and eliminations
- Perform variance analysis and executive financial reporting
- Ensure SEC/public company compliance and regulatory reporting (FDA, EMA, EFSA, etc.)
- Handle cost accounting for cGMP manufacturing and regulatory audits
- Manage international tax, transfer pricing, and statutory reporting
- Coordinate currency translation, hedging, and local GAAP compliance
- Support M&A financial due diligence and integration
- Serve as QuickBooks Enterprise Diamond admin and reporting expert
- Develop dashboards, templates, and process manuals
- Implement internal controls, process improvements, and ERP integrations
- Liaise with legal, IT, and compliance on financial systems and security
- Partner with leadership across R&D, operations, and marketing
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, capex analysis, and procurement reviews
- Support IP valuation, patent capitalization, and investor relations materials
Preferred Qualifications
- SQL/database skills

- CIA/CFE
- MBA or Masterβs in Finance
- Experience with VC/PE, IP accounting, transfer pricing, and patent capitalization
