Doula

Summary

Join Pomelo Care's network of doulas and make a difference in the lives of expecting and new families. As a Pomelo doula, you will provide education and guidance throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, empowering families and improving birth outcomes. Pomelo handles insurance credentialing, billing, and administrative tasks, allowing you to maintain a flexible schedule and grow your client base. To qualify, you need doula experience, relevant certification, strong communication skills, and comfort with telehealth and in-person work. This is a contract role, so employee benefits are not included.

Requirements

• Experience working as a doula with in-depth understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
• Completed certification as a birth and/or postpartum doula from a recognized organization
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with families from diverse backgrounds both virtually and in-person
• Comfortable using Telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems
• Able to work virtually and in-person, as well as evenings and weekends, to accommodate the needs of families
