Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building successful business relationships
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
• Ability to travel, as required, to meet with clients

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential freight forwarding companies and BCO's to expand the company's client base
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects through regular communication and visits
• Negotiate rates and contractual terms with clients and prospects to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms
• Collaborate with clients, operations teams, and drayage providers to create efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing the company's drayage capabilities and solutions
