Due Diligence Specialist

Summary

Join our Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) team to assist with conducting thorough reviews of existing accounts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements
• Be a highly motivated self-starter, comfortable working within a high risk environment
• Work efficiently and independently, but know when to ask for help
• Enjoy and have experience working autonomously in a queue based role, understanding how to prioritize your work and keep an organized, clean inbox and queue
• Place an emphasis on quality - paying very close attention to detail to keep bad actors out and ensure we’re letting good customers in
• Have great critical thinking skills and enjoy problem solving
• Have great written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct address verification checks by reviewing proof of address documents and IP logs
• Conduct source of funds reviews to verify the legitimacy of funds used to open and maintain accounts
• Perform US Nexus reviews to determine if an account has any connections to the United States
• Identify and escalate any potential issues or concerns to management
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all reviews conducted

Benefits

• Required: to work ~40 hours per week
• This position requires you to be able to work a Monday - Friday schedule
• Working hours are flexible as long as you can work generally between the hours of 8am ET and 6pm PT (in your local time zone)
• Length of Contract: 4 months (possibility of extension or conversion to full time based on team need and performance in the role)
• US employees: $35.00/hour
• Canadian employees (any location): CAD 33.00/hour
