Summary

Join Vercel's Docs team as a DX Engineer with strong technical writing background to develop and update technical documentation, ensuring high-quality development tools, workflows, and documentation.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience as a Technical Writer, Developer Experience Engineer, or related role, with a proven track record of creating impactful documentation
• Knowledge of frontend tools such as TypeScript, Next.js, and Vercel
• Proficiency in MDX, Markdown, and Git workflows, enabling you to create efficient and interactive documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, thriving in a team environment and contributing to a positive workplace
• Ability to quickly adapt to new domains, learning and articulating complex concepts into clear, comprehensive content
• Focus on putting the reader first, ensuring documentation is accessible and engaging
• Understanding and application of various content types effectively in technical writing

Responsibilities

• Develop and update technical documentation, focusing on Vercel's tools, libraries, and APIs
• Act as customer zero, ensuring our documentation meets the reader's needs and enhances their experience using our products
• Review and refine documentation and code examples for clarity and adherence to our style guide
• Proactively maintain and improve the documentation sites
• Manage your projects in coordination with the team, adhering to deadlines and contributing to our documentation strategy
• Embrace new products and processes, sharing knowledge and driving documentation quality and innovation
• Report to our Director of Docs
