Summary

Join Credible's editorial team as an editor with at least four years of experience editing personal finance content to focus on our personal loans vertical. You'll be a core contributor to create best-in-class content for Credible and our media partners.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience editing personal finance content
• Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail, organization, and strong project management skills
• Experience working within Asana, Google Docs, and other content and task management systems plus familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs and Semrush

Responsibilities

• Editing personal loans articles for Credible and media partners
• Thorough fact-checking
• Optimizing articles for SEO using keywords, tables, visuals, etc
• Working with and mentoring freelance writers to ensure quality content
• Helping create content briefs for writers based on topic ideas and SEO recommendations
• Assisting senior editors with content projects as needed
• Assisting with lender research and analysis to inform product methodologies
• Occasionally writing content
• Staying up to date on industry trends and continually expanding your knowledge of personal loans and related products
