Requirements

• 1+ years of proven experience in editing
• Deep knowledge of content marketing
• Excellent American English communication skills, both verbal and written
• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices

• Excellent time-management and planning skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Proofreading content for compliance with brand and style guidelines
• Editing and improving content to ensure correct spelling, consistent voice, readability, and punctuation
• Checking if content meets publishing standards
• Constantly self-educating on current best writing practices
• Communicating effectively with teams and providing constructive feedback to writers
• Researching the target audience to know what words and phrases they are using
• Fact-checking information like dates and statistics
• Collaborating with content managers to oversee and develop editorial calendars
