Summary
Join the Koch Internship Program (KIP), a paid 10-week experiential learning program, and gain valuable work experience at a non-profit. The program includes virtual professional development sessions and a stipend of $3,300 or $5,500 depending on hours worked. You'll work closely with FEE Senior Fellow Kerry McDonald and FEE Education Associate Nasiyah Isra-Ul at the Education Entrepreneurship Lab. The internship is remote and focuses on expanding the Lab's output, reach, and impact. Successful candidates will interview with both the non-profit partner and Stand Together Fellowships staff. Requirements
- Strong interest in education and entrepreneurship, including alternative and emerging learning models such as homeschooling and microschooling
- Excellent communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration at all levels
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and willingness to learn new software and tools
- Independent and team-oriented, demonstrating a proactive and positive approach to work
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and resourceful mindset
Responsibilities
- Drafting articles and website content
- Creating social media posts
- Interacting with families and founders interested in finding or building new schools and learning models
- Assisting with planning for Kerryโs August 2025 book launch events
- Helping with conference presentation planning
- Identifying new opportunities for the Lab
- Staying up-to-date on education policy trends
Preferred Qualifications
- A background in economics or related majors
- An understanding of education policy trends
- Previous publishing experience
