Electrical CAD Intern

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred
• Completion of two years or more of engineering classwork at an ABET accredited institution
• Strong academic background with coursework in power systems and control systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for contributing to the field of electrical engineering
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Performing complex CAD work
• Final quality control reviews
• Work with engineers and clients to resolve issues
• Reading and understanding client standards and specifications, other project related documents and meeting their requirements
• Data and document entry into various platforms
• Scanning, copying, and filing documents
• Reporting safety, health, and quality issues to management
• Assist management on special projects as directed
