Summary

Join DockYard as a Fullstack Software Engineer specializing in Elixir and Phoenix! Requirements

  • Proven experience in building and shipping Elixir/Phoenix/LiveView web applications to production
  • Experience in frontend development ( HTML, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS )
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing and able to work US working hours

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and business stakeholders to understand business goals and priorities, analyze product requirements, and collaborate on solutions
  • Deliver clean, testable, and maintainable code using modern best practices and technologies
  • Assist in project scoping, estimation, and planning activities
  • Participate actively in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a remote environment
  • Prior client services, consulting, or freelancing experience
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Tabnine, etc)
