Join Pathward, a hybrid, remote-office financial empowerment company, as an Employee Relations Specialist! You will be a key partner to leaders and employees, resolving workplace conflicts and navigating employee relations matters. Collaborate with the People & Culture team to ensure policy adherence and provide strategic coaching to leaders and managers. Conduct thorough investigations, maintain case management systems, and communicate effectively with all parties. Provide guidance on conflict resolution, policy interpretation, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Analyze data, report findings, and partner with other teams to implement solutions. Proactively lead initiatives in training, systems enhancement, and process improvement. Independently manage large-scale projects and produce high-quality written communications. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
- 3+ years of experience in employee relations (ER) or similar role handling ER activities
- Experience researching complex human resources-related issues and implementing courses of action

Responsibilities
- Manage employee relations across multiple business groups to assist employees and managers in resolving issues and grievances
- Conducts thorough and timely workplace investigations in accordance with the companyβs methodology and comply with all applicable laws
- Maintains the company's employee case management system to ensure detailed documentation of employee relations matters
- Communicates timely with all parties during the investigation process
- Provides guidance in situations requiring conflict resolution, policy/procedure interpretation, performance management, position eliminations and other terminations, disciplinary actions, and other issues representing significant risk to the organization
- Provides rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs
- Integrates and partners with People Business Partners and Legal team to implement solutions
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify key trends in employee relations, while proactively leading initiatives in training, systems enhancement, and process improvement
- Acts as a trusted advisor to managers and effectively assists with feedback and coaching to enhance employee performance
- Independently owns large-scale, company-wide projects delivered on time, which improve frontline partner experience
- Produces high quality written communications that concisely analyze problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Designs and delivers highly engaging training sessions for employees and managers
- Conduct exits interviews and provides data driven reports to People Business Partners and management, highlighting trends and areas of concern, while recommending corrective actions
