Join Development InfoStructure LLC. (DEVIS) as their Employee Relations Lead, a proposal position contingent on contract award. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in employee relations, leadership experience, and a strong commitment to DEIA. This position requires a Master's degree in a related field and extensive experience in human resources and employee relations leadership. Success in this role demands exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Requirements
- Masterβs degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in human resources, with a significant focus on employee relations
- 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role managing employee relations teams
- Proven ability to lead and resolve complex workplace investigations and disputes
- Deep knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated success in creating and implementing DEIA-focused programs
- Previously worked as a contractor or direct hire at USAID
- Experience hiring, managing or working with PSCs
- Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications, Microsoft Office 365
- Must be able to obtain a public trust or greater
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the implementation of organization-wide employee relations strategies and initiatives to promote employee satisfaction and engagement
- Serve as the senior advisor to executive leadership on complex employee relations issues, providing data-driven recommendations and solutions
- Lead the resolution of high-level employee grievances, workplace conflicts, and disciplinary actions while ensuring fairness and consistency
- Establish and refine policies, procedures, and programs to support DEIA goals and ensure legal compliance
- Monitor and analyze trends in employee relations metrics to identify potential risks and proactively address workplace concerns
- Oversee the design and delivery of training programs for managers and employees on topics such as conflict resolution, leadership development, and organizational policies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and serve as a key liaison with legal counsel for employee-related matters
- Build and lead a high-performing employee relations team, providing mentorship, strategic direction, and professional development opportunities
- Collaborate with HR, legal, and compliance teams to address employee relations challenges and align them with organizational goals
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or other advanced HR certifications
- Experience in federal government or international development sectors
- Strong background in change management and organizational development
