Summary

Join Mashura LLC as an Endpoint Systems Engineer and take ownership of our 5,000+ endpoint fleet powering global inventory management systems in dental and veterinary environments. This hands-on role focuses on enhancing consistency, security, and visibility of mission-critical systems. You will implement an endpoint management platform, standardize configurations, maintain device lifecycle observability, and ensure high availability. Collaboration with InfoSec and Engineering is key to aligning with security and compliance standards, supporting regulatory audits (DEA, HIPAA, etc.), and developing automation for scalable management. This role directly impacts patient care and safety by ensuring the reliable operation of systems handling controlled substances. You will build a critical capability and lay the foundation for a future-facing IT and security function.

Requirements

  • 4+ years managing endpoint fleets in remote or cloud-native environments
  • Deep familiarity with MDM and endpoint management platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Windows OS configuration management, patching, and compliance policy enforcement
  • Strong scripting or automation skills
  • Understanding of endpoint security best practices and incident response procedures
  • Experience with Windows device environments

Responsibilities

  • Own and implement an endpoint management platform (e.g., Microsoft Intune) to support a global, remote fleet
  • Standardize and enforce endpoint configurations, OS patching, software deployment, and compliance policies
  • Maintain observability across the full device lifecycle: provisioning, monitoring, updating, and decommissioning
  • Ensure high availability and integrity of field-deployed devices interacting with controlled substance storage and dispensing systems
  • Collaborate with InfoSec and Engineering to align endpoint posture with broader security, privacy, and compliance standards
  • Support compliance readiness by enabling device-level controls required for DEA, HIPAA, and state regulatory audits
  • Maintain asset inventory and contribute to secure onboarding/offboarding procedures
  • Develop automation and scripting to manage endpoints at scale

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in regulated industries (healthcare, life sciences, pharma)
  • Familiarity with controlled substance tracking, HIPAA, DEA, or state compliance requirements
  • Exposure to EDR/XDR tools and security monitoring

Benefits

  • The opportunity to build a critical capability, with strong leadership support
  • Direct impact on patient care and safety, not just back-office infrastructure
  • Ownership of one of the most visible and risk-sensitive technology layers in the company
