Summary
Join Energy Solutions, a growing company focused on market-based programs for energy and water savings, as an Energy Efficiency Associate specializing in Building Electrification. This full-time role supports the Technology and Equipment for Clean Heating (TECH) initiative in California, focusing on residential building electrification. You will assist with program implementation and design, conduct technology research, facilitate projects, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a hybrid work environment with a minimum of one day a week in the office (currently Wednesdays) in Oakland, CA; Orange, CA; or Portland, OR. Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed technical and quantitative analysis, knowledge of data science and/or experience with information systems management
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Flexibility and adaptability in regard to project focus
- Ability to work and thrive independently and juggle multiple competing priorities
- Proactive and collaborative problem-solving approach
- Excellent personal accountability
- A 5-minute PowerPoint presentation will be required during the interview process
Responsibilities
- Assisting with program implementation and design
- Technology research and literature searches, including energy savings calculation
- Facilitating and monitoring the progress of projects and communicating progress to internal stakeholders
- Organizing and facilitating meetings and conference calls with internal stakeholders and/or clients
- Coordinating implementation activities between internal technical teams and consulting stakeholders
- Configuring program changes on our proprietary software platforms
- Working with internal clients to debug, reproduce, document, and fix support problems for production web application systems
- Creating visualizations and dashboards using BI tools (e.g. Tableau)
