What you’ll experience with us

You’ll learn and grow your skills alongside a team of experts, changing the game across the AV industry and beyond.

As an Engineering Intern, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation and gain hands-on industry experience in web development. You’ll be part of our Digital Services team and contribute to backend development tasks, including building and modernising services & APIs using Node.js.

This is a paid internship and we work with you to balance your studies, asking for a minimum commitment of 3 days per week over 3 months.

What you’ll be working on

• Grow your coding skills by supporting the design, development and delivery of backend services using Node.js
• Assist in the development of Restful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with the development teams to transfer existing frameworks into new technology
• Drive innovation by participating in code reviews and contribute to improving best practices
• Perform testing and quality assurance on code changes, as well as hands-on industry experience in code documentation

Who we’re looking for

• Currently studying or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science; equivalent self-study or previous related commercial experience
• Understanding or interest in JavaScript, Node.js, and web development concepts (bonus points for any university project work!)
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and how they work
• Team player with strong communication skills written & verbal
• Curiosity and willingness to learn
• Passion for problem solving and strong attention to detail
