Engineering Lead

Summary

Join HubSpot's Flywheel Partner Product group as an Engineering Lead and oversee a small family of teams, providing technical, product, and team-level leadership. You will be hands-on in the code while growing direct reports and running productive teams. This role focuses on designing and executing solutions to support collaboration between HubSpot reps and partners, fostering an inclusive environment, and building relationships across the company. You will deliver value iteratively and gain insight into HubSpot's business operations. The ideal candidate possesses experience in partnerships, user focus, tackling technical challenges, and mentoring technical team leads. Requirements

• Have experience working with partnerships, ecosystems, go-to-market teams, internal product teams, business process automation, and/or customized CRM implementations
• Demonstrate a strong user focus with the ability to empathize with users' challenges
• Get excited about tackling big technical challenges and being close to business and go-to-market strategies
• Have experience mentoring and coaching technical team leads

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in designing and executing solutions that deliver accurate, efficient, and innovative capabilities to support collaboration between HubSpot reps and Partners
• Foster an inclusive environment within small cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, designers, and analysts
• Collaborate and build trusted relationships with HubSpotters all over the company, whether in engineering, product, design, research, marketing, or sales
• Deliver value iteratively by envisioning, experimenting, building, and monitoring the performance of new features and tools that contribute to HubSpot's growth
• Gain Insight into how HubSpot works as a business!
• Actively involved as a player-coach in building software and making products to solve customer problems
• Continue to grow as technologists while in role and continue to tech lead one team to have a place to drive technical growth
• Have a strong technical vision for how to implement the product vision
• Think about and implement ideas to push teams to improve technically
• Work effectively across the engineering and product organization to cultivate a strong product vision for their teams, and are responsible for the mission, direction, and alignment
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and feedback to help engineers grow and succeed in their role
• Hold a high performance bar for their team
• Create and foster diverse teams and an inclusive culture
