Summary

Requirements

  • A significant experience as a senior individual contributor (ideally in java/Kotlin)
  • A first experience in people management (Tech lead, Engineering manager ...)
  • Good architectural skills and familiarity with modern software development practices
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French

Responsibilities

  • Lead a tribe of 8-12 software engineers, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and prioritize goals
  • Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure maximal business impact
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and support career development of team members
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding of new engineering talent
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in code quality and team organization
  • Manage and report on team KPIs and project progress
  • Organizing team meetings and events
  • Actively participate in our Engineering Manager Guild to implement new tools or processes for the entire Engineering team
