Engineering Manager

Summary

Join Turing as an Engineering Manager - AI and lead a team of talented engineers, driving the technical vision and execution of complex projects. As a pivotal part of our engineering leadership, you will be responsible for prompt generation, work stream assignment to various pods, team throughput to task completion, spot reviews on tasks, and identifying high and low performers in teams.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience in Python and Javascript
• Ability to guide the team in the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and maintainable codebases in these languages
• Experience in leading projects that leverage Python for data analysis, backend development, or AI/ML applications, as well as JavaScript for front-end and full-stack development
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques, including statistical analysis, data visualization, and data manipulation using tools like Pandas, NumPy, and SQL
• Strong focus on data quality, ensuring that the data used by the team is accurate, consistent, and reliable
• Ability to lead initiatives in data validation, cleansing, and enrichment to maintain the integrity of data-driven applications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, and management experience on a team size of more than 5-6
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams to deliver high-quality software products
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
