Summary

The job is for an Engineering Manager I at StackAdapt, a self-serve advertising platform that specializes in multi-channel solutions. Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering results and leading growing high-impact teams
  • At least 5 years experience in full-stack software development in web technologies and architecting scalable systems in a successful high-growth technology company
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience with at least 3 direct reports, including essential people management experiences listed above
  • You have in-depth experience with Typescript, React and GraphQL
  • Experience with modern frontend libraries and frameworks (eg. Redux, Zustand, Jes.t)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 talented engineers within full-stack web engineering
  • Make a positive impact on the team's productivity and growth
  • Act as a hands-on manager and participate in project design and implementation
  • Promote software development best practices and conduct rigorous code reviews
  • Plan and architect scalable web APIs and backend systems, and build UI components
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to ensure requirements and priorities align
  • Conduct interviews to attract and identify potential high-performing candidates
  • Balance and prioritize projects to maximize efficiency and ensure company objectives are achieved

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience scaling a Ruby on Rails backend architecture is a plus
  • Experience in AWS is a plus
