Engineering Manager, ML Platform

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or data science roles, with 2+ years in technical leadership or management
• 3+ years experience in delivering ML applications solving real world problems
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices, cloud computing platforms, big data technologies, MLOps toolkits, and SLO-driven reliability management
• Proven ability to build and lead distributed teams across geographies while fostering collaboration and innovation
• Excellent communication skills with a track record of mentoring engineers
• Commitment to promoting diversity and creating an inclusive and safe work environment

Responsibilities

• Drive a culture of reliability and innovation in ML systems development
• Lead the your team to develop the next generation feature development systems to power low-latency ML applications in a cost effective and developer friendly manner, leveraging technologies like feature stores and real-time data pipelines
• Establish, measure, and manage reliability and data quality standards of mission critical ML systems
• Advocate for architectural best practices in cloud platform development across the organization
• Partner with cross-functional teams in product, data science, and across engineering to define roadmaps and deliver high-priority projects
• Mentor and grow a high-performing team of engineers while fostering an inclusive culture of innovation

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in eCommerce, financial services, or related industries is a bonus
