Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager (Offline Infrastructure)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data infrastructure, or technical leadership roles
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, balancing both technical leadership and people management responsibilities
• Proven expertise with distributed batch processing systems (e.g., Apache Spark, Bigquery, Airflow)
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or SQL, with experience in optimizing large-scale data systems
• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS for building scalable data architectures

Responsibilities

• Lead the Offline Infrastructure Team: Manage and mentor a team of engineers focused on batch data processing and infrastructure
• Develop Scalable Data Pipelines: Oversee the development and implementation of high-performance batch data pipelines and infrastructure
• Collaborate Cross-functionally: Work closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to integrate data insights into business processes
• Drive Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends in data engineering and cloud infrastructure to enhance our data capabilities
• Ensure Data Reliability: Continuously improve the quality, performance, and reliability of data systems
• Project Management: Apply agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality data solutions aligned with organizational priorities
• Strategic Planning: Partner with senior leadership to shape the technical vision and roadmap for offline infrastructure
