Engineering Manager - Software Development

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong expertise in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, Next.JS, Node.JS
• Experience with backend development and API integration to support UX goals
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, user-centric digital experiences
• Deep understanding of UX principles, usability testing, and accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA, etc.)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile and cross-functional environments

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers focused on UX development
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate design vision into scalable software solutions
• Drive UX engineering best practices, including accessibility, responsiveness, and performance optimization
• Ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end technologies to enhance user experience
• Develop and implement strategies to improve usability, customer engagement, and user satisfaction
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX methodologies to continuously improve our products
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and software delivery to meet business goals
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration
• Establish observability of customer interactions and software performance metrics to drive data-informed decisions and enhance the user experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with design systems and component libraries
• Knowledge of data-driven UX decision-making (A/B testing, user analytics, etc.)
• Familiarity with AI-driven UX enhancements and personalization techniques
• Strong experience in running experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing, multivariate testing, and feature flagging to drive iterative improvements
