Summary
Join American College of Education as an Enrollment Counselor and recruit qualified candidates for our Masters, Doctoral, Certificate, and Professional Development programs. You will counsel prospective students throughout the enrollment process, from initial contact to application completion. This role requires strong communication, organization, and time management skills, along with the ability to build rapport and address student needs. The position offers a competitive hourly rate plus an annual bonus, and is a remote position. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of enrollment experience
- Excellent presentation skills both verbal and written
- Ability to develop professional rapport with prospective students
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines: displays high level of accuracy
- Knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook

- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
- Self-motivated, creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems

Responsibilities
- Recruit qualified candidates into American College of Education’s Masters, Doctoral, Certificate and Professional Development programs
- Counsel prospective students through the full life cycle of the enrollment process
- Develop initial relationships with prospective students
- Explore student needs and offer personalized solutions
- Navigate the decision-making and application process with prospective students
- Prepare students for long-term success
- Conduct prospective student interviews: Match College benefits to students’ needs by providing accurate information related to all college and program specific information
- Uncover prospective student motivations and concerns, as well as overcome objections through problem solving using a consultative approach
- Maintain consistent contact with prospective students and provide the highest level of customer service
- Effectively use technology and established business processes; responsible for documenting all student interactions into CRM
- Adhere to all school/company policies and procedures as well as federal, state and compliance regulations
- Demonstrate positive attitude and motivation, concern for students, teamwork, and excellent time management skills
- May work special projects like; prospective student qualification outreach and follow-up or support retention and outreach efforts post Enrollment
