Summary

Join Experian as a Sales Engineer and contribute to making a difference by unlocking the power of data. You'll work closely with sales team members, identify client needs, explain technical aspects of products, and manage internal processes for successful sales. This is a remote position based in the United States.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years sales engineering experience
  • Experience of Experian's Decisioning, Origination, Account Management, Collections and Optimization Solutions and/or Experian's cloud Ascend Solutions
  • Knowledge of competitors' Decisioning and Risk products and services
  • Knowledge of basic database skills and programming languages beneficial, i.e., SQL, Python, R or Hue
  • Knowledge of Decisioning and Risk Management in the marketplace
  • Actual client-based work using Experian's Decisioning or competitor's solutions
  • Advanced project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with other sales team members to identify client needs
  • Explain technical and functional aspects of any products and services being offered
  • Manage internal processes that are necessary for a successful sales process
  • Prepare technical presentations explaining products or services
  • Assess our client's needs and document their technical requirements
  • Provide sales support as an expert in the industry
