Entry Level Behavior Technician

Summary

Join Sunrise ABA as a Behavior Technician and be part of a caring team that provides high-quality ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a Behavior Technician, you will implement individualized treatment plans, work one-on-one with clients, collect data on client progress, and support the development of critical skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred
• Experience implementing ABA programs or working with children with special needs is a plus!
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans as designed and directed by the supervising BCBA
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients in home, school, and community settings
• Utilize positive reinforcement and other ABA techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction
• Accurately collect and record data on client progress during each session
• Monitor and report changes in client behavior and progress to the supervising BCBA
• Assist in the preparation of progress reports and attend team meetings to discuss client development
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ABA principles and practices
• Collaborate effectively with clients' families and other team members to ensure consistency and generalization of skills across settings
• Provide support and training to family members and caregivers as needed
• Maintain professional and respectful communication with clients, families, and colleagues
